About Anthropic Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the role As a Strategic Deals Lead, you will shape and execute Anthropic's partnerships with the hyperscalers and cloud service providers that supply the compute we train and serve frontier models on. As Anthropic scales its infrastructure footprint, you will originate, structure, negotiate, and close the deals that put that strategy into effect — securing large-scale compute capacity and, increasingly, shaping how Anthropic's models are distributed, priced, and sold through those same partners' platforms Securing that infrastructure at scale requires cultivating strong partnerships across the hyperscaler and cloud service provider ecosystem — partnerships that cut across compute, go-to-market, and product teams. These relationships span multi-year compute commitments, financing structures, model availability on the partner's platform, co-selling and marketplace arrangements, and joint go-to-market motions. You will be the person who connects those threads: working with engineering and infrastructure teams to understand what compute Anthropic needs, and with product, go-to-market, finance, and legal teams to make sure the commercial and distribution terms we agree to reinforce rather than constrain each other. We are looking for people who combine a deep understanding of cloud and AI infrastructure with strong strategic judgment, financial acumen, and the negotiating skill to close complex agreements at the terms and timelines Anthropic requires. You will be an integral part of a team focused on ensuring Anthropic has the resources it needs to pursue its mission of developing safe, beneficial AI systems. Key responsibilities Own the strategy and deal pipeline that expands Anthropic's access to compute and infrastructure, and connects the product and go-to-market components of those partnerships. Lead the full deal lifecycle for large-scale cloud and compute transactions, from opportunity identification and term sheet development through negotiation, execution, and close Build and own executive-level relationships with commercial, finance, product, and legal counterparts at hyperscalers and cloud providers Support product and go-to-market leadership in structuring and negotiating the product and go-to-market elements of hyperscaler partnerships — including model availability on partner platforms, marketplace and co-sell arrangements, pricing and revenue-share constructs, and joint customer motions Bring capital markets and finance expertise to transactions, developing frameworks for evaluating deal economics, counterparty risk, and the financing components of compute infrastructure Partner with engineering and infrastructure teams to understand future workload requirements and translate them into long-term compute and ecosystem strategies and commercially viable deal terms Partner with Legal, Finance, Product, and Engineering to align deal terms with Anthropic's technical, financial, commercial, and risk requirements Monitor market, technology, competitive, and financing developments across the AI infrastructure landscape and provide clear recommendations and deal reporting to senior leadership Minimum qualifications Experience in cloud computing, AI infrastructure, or adjacent technology ecosystems, with a strong understanding of hyperscaler platforms, compute and accelerator technologies, and cloud and infrastructure economics Demonstrated track record of structuring, negotiating, and closing complex, high-value technology transactions or strategic partnerships as the lead negotiator. This role requires someone who can operate independently from day one Experience negotiating agreements that combine infrastructure or capacity terms with commercial, product, or go-to-market terms, and an understanding of how those components interact Ability to work effectively with technical teams and translate complex engineering concepts into deal structures and strategic business recommendations Experience building partnerships and influencing senior stakeholders across internal and external organizations, including executive leadership Preferred qualifications 8-10+ years of experience in strategic deals, corporate development, partnerships, investment banking, or business development at technology companies, hyperscalers, cloud providers, or financial institutions, with direct transactional ownership Direct experience working with or inside a hyperscaler on AI or cloud partnerships, including familiarity with model gardens, marketplaces, co-sell programs, and partner economics Experience managing multiple high-value transactions simultaneously at different stages of maturity and commercial development Working understanding of capital markets and vendor financing, including how large infrastructure commitments are financed, with the ability to shape the financing side of a transaction alongside its commercial terms Strong financial modeling skills, including the ability to build and pressure-test economics for large infrastructure projects Comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where market structures, provider economics, and partnership norms are still evolving The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $265,000 — $325,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices. Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this. We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team. Your safety matters to us. To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit anthropic.com/careers directly for confirmed position openings. How we're different We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills. The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences. Come work with us! Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues. About the role Anthropic is seeking a partnerships leader to own the tri-party motion for systems integrator partnerships selling through AWS. Global systems integrators and specialist SIs are how Claude reaches enterprise customers at scale, and AWS is the surface most of that work runs on. You will own the intersection of those two ecosystems. In this role, you will build the go-to-market motion that turns partner interest into joint pipeline and closed revenue, working across AWS's partner organization and the AWS practices inside the world's largest integrators. You will define how Claude is positioned inside AWS partner programs, design the commercial mechanics that let partners transact and get rewarded, and build the joint plays that partners take to their customers. This is a build role. The partner ecosystem is early, the programs are still being designed, and you will be operating across three organizations whose incentives on any given deal don’t always line up. You will help shape how frontier AI technology reaches the enterprise through the services ecosystem. You will report directly to the Head of AWS GTM Partnerships. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the GTM strategy for our systems integrator partnerships through AWS, including co-selling motions, joint business plans, events and segment-specific plays Own forecasting, pipeline development, and revenue targets for partner-sourced and partner-influenced business Design the commercial mechanics that make the partner motion work, including deal registration, marketplace program structure, and incentives Build and maintain executive-level relationships across AWS's partner organization and across partner AWS practice leadership Work with partners to develop repeatable, industry-specific solutions built on Claude, and help them build the delivery capability to take those solutions to market Partner cross-functionally with Anthropic's alliances, sales, partner marketing, and regional cloud teams to keep the motion consistent globally while regions execute locally Create and implement scalable processes for partnership operations, including escalation management, business reviews, and reporting Provide strategic market intelligence and competitive insights on the partner ecosystem to inform product and commercial strategy Identify where to concentrate investment across the partner portfolio and make the case to stop investing where returns are not there Minimum qualifications 12+ years of enterprise partnerships, alliances, or business development experience, with meaningful time spent on partner ecosystems Proven track record of building and scaling partnerships with systems integrators, consultancies, or channel partners Experience building a co-sell or channel motion from the ground up, including the commercial mechanics behind it Deep understanding of how cloud and partner field organizations operate, and the incentives that drive seller and partner behavior Track record of carrying and hitting a partner-sourced or partner-influenced revenue number, with credible forecasting behind it Strong executive presence and demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders where you have no formal authority Excellence in strategic planning, business operations, and program management Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution, and a willingness to concentrate effort rather than spread thin Experience working with technical products and translating complex capabilities into business value Ability to travel up to 25% of the time Preferred qualifications Previous experience working with AWS or another hyperscaler partner organization Working knowledge of systems integrator operating models, including practice structures, delivery economics, and how services revenue drives partner decisions Background in AI/ML technologies or with developer-focused platforms and their partner ecosystems Experience scaling partner programs at a company moving from early traction to significant partner-driven revenue Management consulting experience earlier in your career Deadline to apply: None. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. About the Role: Anthropic sits at the frontier of AI development, which makes us one of the most interesting targets in the world for nation-state and advanced criminal actors. The Threat Intelligence function within our Detection & Response team exists to make sure we see them coming. As a Threat Intelligence Engineer, you'll be a hands-on practitioner responsible for producing the actionable intelligence that drives our detections, hunts, and defensive priorities. You'll track the adversaries most likely to target a frontier AI lab, build the tooling and pipelines that turn raw indicators into operational defenses, and work shoulder-to-shoulder with detection engineers and incident responders to make sure intelligence actually changes outcomes. This is a builder's role on a small, high-leverage team — you'll have broad latitude to shape how threat intelligence is collected, analyzed, and operationalized at Anthropic. Responsibilities: Research, track, and report on threat actors and campaigns targeting AI labs, cloud infrastructure, and the broader technology sector — producing timely, actionable intelligence for Security Engineering stakeholders Build and maintain tooling and automated pipelines to collect, enrich, correlate, and operationalize indicators of compromise into our detection and alerting stack Develop and execute intelligence-driven threat hunts across endpoint, cloud, identity, and SaaS telemetry, and turn findings into durable detections Perform technical analysis of malware, phishing infrastructure, and attacker tooling to extract indicators, TTPs, and attribution signals Partner with Detection Engineering and Incident Response to translate intelligence into detection rules, hunting hypotheses, and incident context in near-real-time Curate and triage inbound intelligence from commercial feeds, open source, government, and trusted peer relationships — prioritizing what matters for Anthropic's threat model Contribute to threat models and risk assessments that inform security architecture and defensive investment across the enterprise Build and maintain external intelligence-sharing relationships with peer companies, ISACs, and government partners You may be a good fit if you: Have 5+ years of hands-on experience in cyber threat intelligence, threat hunting, or intrusion analysis at an organization facing sophisticated adversaries Have deep, demonstrable knowledge of specific nation-state or advanced criminal threat actors — their tooling, infrastructure patterns, tradecraft, and targeting Are a strong engineer: you write production-quality Python (or similar), have built automation and data pipelines, and don't need to hand requirements to someone else to get tooling built Are comfortable performing malware analysis, infrastructure analysis (passive DNS, certificate pivoting, netflow), and log analysis to develop and validate your own findings Have experience authoring detection logic (YARA, Sigma, Snort/Suricata, or SIEM-native queries) and understand what makes a detection durable vs. brittle Can write clearly and concisely — your intelligence products are read and acted on, not filed away Have an existing network in the threat intelligence community and a track record of productive bidirectional sharing Strong candidates may have: Experience defending cloud-native and research-heavy environments (AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, ML infrastructure, developer tooling and supply chain) Prior work operating in a threat intelligence role tracking sophisticated or state-sponsored adversaries, where your analysis directly informed detection, threat hunting, and incident response Experience applying LLMs or other AI tooling to accelerate intelligence collection, enrichment, and analysis Public research, conference talks, or open-source tooling contributions in the CTI space Deadline to apply: None. About the role Every request that hits Claude — from claude.ai , the API, our cloud partners, or internal research — depends on a set of decisions made before it ever reaches a model: where each request should be served and how much capacity each model needs right now. Getting those decisions right is crucial to satisfying throughput, reliability, and latency constraints. This group builds the control plane that makes those decisions for Anthropic's inference fleet and own the inference request path. This is a deeply technical group. The engineers here design placement and load-balancing algorithms, build quantitative models of demand, capacity, and system performance, improve latency across kernel, network, and framework boundaries, and reason carefully about how a change to the fleet ripples through everything that depends on it. You'll lead a strong group of ML platform, infrastructure, and distributed-systems engineers working alongside the teams that build our ML internals and cloud infrastructure. You need enough systems depth to make architectural calls, hire people who go deep, and see when a proposed change will ripple across the fleet. You're accountable for the health of the whole path from request to model: its efficiency, its reliability, and how well it evolves as models, hardware, and clouds change underneath it. Key responsibilities Own the technical roadmap for how the inference fleet is coordinated — where traffic goes, where capacity lives, how caches are placed, how fast the system reacts to demand, and the protocols that keep the control plane and the inference engines in sync Partner with the product, inference engine, performance, and capacity teams to identify throughput, latency, utilization, and cost wins, then turn those into shipped improvements with measurable results Build the group's habit of quantitative modeling: claim a win only when you can measure it, and know before you ship what the expected effect is Set technical strategy for how the control plane evolves across heterogeneous hardware, across multiple cloud providers, and across all our serving surfaces Run the group's operational backbone — on-call rotations, incident response, postmortem review, deploy safety — so the teams can ship aggressively without the system becoming fragile Create clarity at a seam: this group sits between the API surface, the inference engines, capacity planning, and the cloud deployment teams Develop and retain strong existing teams, and hire against a high technical bar Coach engineers through a roadmap where priorities shift Shape team structure as the scope grows: decide where the boundaries between problem areas should sit, and grow leads who can own each Pick up slack when it matters. These are small teams on a critical path; sometimes the EM is the one unblocking a stuck initiative or synthesizing a design debate Minimum qualifications Engineering management experience leading teams on critical-path production infrastructure at scale A deep systems background — load balancing, scheduling, cluster orchestration, autoscaling, cache-coherent distributed state, high-performance networking, or similar — with enough depth to make architectural calls about how a large fleet is coordinated and to evaluate candidates who go to the kernel and framework level Experience shipping performance or efficiency improvements in large-scale systems, and the ability to explain, with numbers, what the impact was — including the cost side, not just the latency side Experience running production infrastructure with real operational stakes: on-call, incident response, capacity events, deploy discipline A results-oriented, impact-driven approach, and comfort working in a space where throughput, latency, cost, stability, launch timelines, and feature velocity all pull in different directions Ability to build strong relationships across team boundaries — this is a seam role, and much of the job is making sure other teams can rely on yours Curiosity about machine learning systems — you don't need an ML research background, but you should want to learn how transformer inference actually works and how that shapes the systems problems Preferred qualifications 5+ years of engineering management experience Experience with LLM inference serving — KV caching, continuous batching, request scheduling, prefill/decode disaggregation Background in cluster schedulers, autoscalers, load balancers, service meshes, or fleet control planes at scale (Kubernetes internals, Borg-style systems, or equivalents) Experience running workloads across multiple clouds or partner platforms, and the reliability and cost trade-offs that come with it Familiarity with heterogeneous accelerator fleets and how hardware differences affect workload placement and rollout sequencing Experience leading teams at supercomputing or hyperscaler infrastructure scale Experience leading multiple teams or a group through rapid-growth periods where hiring, onboarding, and team splits competed with roadmap delivery The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $405,000 — $625,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time.
