Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the role Anthropic is seeking an experienced Executive Communications Writer to support and scale the ways our leaders tell our story. In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Executive Communications and other organization leaders to reach priority audiences in ways that compellingly communicate Anthropic's position at the AI research frontier, market-leading commercial posture, and industry-leading commitment to public benefit. In this role, a given day might include drafting, editing, brainstorming, on-site event support, and coordinating executive response to breaking news, all in close collaboration with the External Communications team and other leaders. The ideal candidate will be an adept storyteller, an experienced partner to leaders, and a flexible collaborator, able to navigate ambiguous situations with sound judgment. When circumstances dictate, you should also be capable of shaping highly technical materials that reach sophisticated audiences with deep domain experience. Because a company like Anthropic — and a technology like advanced AI — are unprecedented in nature, we’re looking for proactive, visionary candidates who offer fresh perspectives on what executive communications might look like in the AI era. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience and expert capability in at least one domain relevant to Anthropic's roster of executives. These include: science and research; products and AI architecture; enterprise and commercial strategy; and visual storytelling and brand, among others. Responsibilities: Originate and shape exceptional executive communications that span a wide array of written and rhetorical formats and platforms Work cross-functionally with External Communications colleagues and other subject matter experts to drive consequential communications moments that serve strategic goals Support senior leaders in developing their areas of communications focus and in their preparation for major communications moments Balance a collaborative ethic with a strategic point of view You may be a good fit if you: Have 8+ years of high level executive communications experience, ideally at a high-tempo, industry-shaping organization Are an exceptional writer and communicator — both on the page, and in high-stakes, fast-moving environments Are high agency and low ego Demonstrate comfort and experience in supporting senior leaders Have a point of view on how forces of change are reshaping traditional communications disciplines, including executive communications Display strong operational capabilities Are self-driven with a bias to action Show excellent judgment and instincts in navigating ambiguous situations Maintain epistemic humility while making informed decisions Bring an open and curious mindset to deeply understand technical concepts The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $295,000 — $345,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices. Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this. We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Who We Are Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together . We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion. Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work. About Us: Notion helps you build beautiful tools for your life’s work. In today's world of endless apps and tabs, Notion provides one place for teams to get everything done, seamlessly connecting docs, notes, projects, calendar, and email—with AI built in to find answers and automate work. Millions of users, from individuals to large organizations like Toyota, Figma, and OpenAI, love Notion for its flexibility and choose it because it helps them save time and money. In-person collaboration is essential to Notion's culture. We require all team members to work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, our designated Anchor Days. Certain teams or positions may require additional in-office workdays. About the Role: Millions of people rely on Notion to do their most important work. Protecting that trust starts with protecting the people who build Notion: our employees, their laptops, their identities, and the SaaS apps they rely on every day. We are looking for a hands-on Corporate Security Engineer to own and improve the technical controls that keep our workforce and corporate environment safe. This is a security engineering role focused on building scalable controls and automation across identity, endpoints, SaaS, and workforce infrastructure, not a traditional IT support or corporate engineering role. You'll own and evolve core security controls, design systems and automation that scale with the company, and help make security both stronger and easier to use. You'll partner closely with IT, Infrastructure, GRC, and Detection & Response to improve the security foundations that employees rely on every day. What You'll Achieve: Harden our identity and access management stack, including Okta and Google Workspace, with phishing-resistant MFA, strong SSO and SCIM lifecycles, and least-privilege access across SaaS. Run our endpoint security program across a macOS-first fleet, including MDM, EDR, and configuration baselines, with working coverage for Windows and ChromeOS. Secure AI tool usage at the endpoint, including governance of large language models, AI agents, and model context protocol (MCP) integrations; detect and prevent unauthorized or risky AI service access and data exfiltration through AI-enabled tools. Reduce SaaS risk at scale through SSPM tooling and custom automation, including detection of risky OAuth grants, excessive permissions, shadow IT, and configuration drift. Write code (Python, Terraform) to automate access reviews, onboarding and offboarding, configuration drift detection, and audit evidence collection. Partner with Detection & Response to ensure corporate systems produce the telemetry needed to detect identity, endpoint, and SaaS abuse. Support SOC 2, ISO 27001, and customer audits as a byproduct of good engineering, not a separate workstream. Partner with Detection & Response on investigation and response for corporate security incidents, including phishing, account compromise, lost devices, and BEC. Skills You Need To Bring: Have 5+ years of hands-on experience in corporate security, enterprise security, or IT security engineering at a cloud-native company. Have working knowledge of a major identity provider (Okta, Entra, or Google Workspace) and the underlying protocols (SAML, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SCIM). Have hands-on experience operating endpoint management and detection tooling across macOS and enterprise environments. Write production-quality scripts and automation in Python or Bash, and have shipped Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code for security configuration. Are familiar with SaaS security risks (OAuth governance, audit logging, SSPM) and the realities of integrating a long tail of vendors. Have working knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) at the security configuration level. Communicate clearly in writing and work effectively across IT, Engineering, Legal, People, and GRC. Nice to Haves: Experience at a fast-growing tech or AI company where the security program had to outpace headcount. A background in IT engineering, SRE, or production engineering that transitioned into security engineering. Experience building internal security tooling or workflows that improved employee or developer experience. Contributions to the security community through open-source tools, blog posts, or conference talks. We hire talented and passionate people from a variety of backgrounds because we want our global employee base to represent the wide diversity of our customers. If you’re excited about a role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every bullet point listed in the job description, we still encourage you to apply. If you’re a builder at heart, share our company values, and enthusiastic about making software toolmaking ubiquitous, we want to hear from you. Notion is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate in hiring or any employment decision based on race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), marital status, ancestry, physical or mental disability, genetic information, veteran status, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, or other applicable legally protected characteristic. By clicking “Submit Application”, I understand and agree that Notion and its affiliates and subsidiaries will collect and process my information in accordance with Notion’s Global Recruiting Privacy Policy . #LI-Onsite A Note on AI You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on. Equal Opportunity & Accommodations We hire talented people from a wide range of backgrounds. If you’re excited about this role but don’t meet every bullet, we still encourage you to apply. Notion is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected characteristic. Consistent with applicable law, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. About the Team OpenAI’s Client Platform Engineering (CPE) team delivers trusted devices at scale: secure by default, reliable by design, and effortless to use. We own platform capabilities across macOS, Windows, iOS, Android, and Linux, spanning endpoint posture and device trust, application delivery, onboarding, updates, telemetry, workflow orchestration, and employee-facing remediation. The team partners deeply with Security, Research, Applied, and specialized engineering groups to enable and protect OpenAI while reducing friction for the people advancing our mission. About the Role As an Engineering Manager for CPE, you will lead a team of engineers responsible for the strategy, delivery, and operation of OpenAI’s cross-platform client foundation. You will combine people leadership with strong technical judgment: setting direction, developing engineers, reviewing architecture and tradeoffs, and creating the operating mechanisms that turn ambiguous needs into durable platform outcomes. This is a high-leverage role at the intersection of security, reliability, developer velocity, and employee experience. CPE is a highly technical platform engineering organization delivering first-party services, automation, observability, and safe fleet operations. We’re looking for a leader who can guide its next chapter, scaling the team and its systems, partnering across the company, and raising the bar for secure, reliable, low-friction experiences across every supported platform. In this role, you will: Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team; hire thoughtfully, coach engineers, create clarity, and foster an inclusive, high-accountability culture that pushes perceived limits. Define and execute a multi-year client-platform strategy and roadmap across macOS, Windows, iOS, Android, and Linux, including how Codex and agents can reshape employee computing. Provide technical direction for endpoint posture, device trust, application delivery, device onboarding, updates, fleet telemetry, workflow orchestration, and employee-facing remediation. Lead the team to rethink the platform from first principles as Codex and agent capabilities advance: what software needs to be built, what agents can own end to end, and which employee workflows no longer need to exist. Guide architecture and engineering tradeoffs across first-party services, open-source tooling, SaaS platforms, IaC/GitOps, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure. Decide what to build, buy, standardize, retire, or redesign as AI changes what the platform can do. Establish clear goals, ownership, planning, design reviews, and execution rhythms that let the team move quickly without sacrificing quality. Raise the bar for reliability and evidence-backed security through observability, drift detection, staged rollouts, release gates, rollback paths, incident learning, runbooks, and healthy operational ownership. Use telemetry to see friction, measure outcomes, and improve before issues become tickets. Partner with Security, IT, Research, Applied, Product, and specialized engineering teams to align priorities and land company-wide changes, dogfood OpenAI products in real employee workflows, and continuously improve internal platforms. Balance strong security and compliance controls with developer velocity, employee experience, and operational simplicity. Define where agents can act, where humans approve, and how actions are evaluated, audited, and reversed. About Anthropic Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the team At Anthropic, we are delegating a growing share of AI development to AI systems themselves . Takeoff Intel is the team that measures this recursion from the inside. We're part of the Anthropic Institute . We design evaluations of AI R&D capabilities, build the internal telemetry Anthropic uses to track how much of its own model development is becoming AI-assisted, and develop the quantitative methods that turn those signals into a calibrated picture of where capability growth is heading, so that Anthropic and the wider world have accurate situational awareness on this acceleration. Our work appears in Anthropic's model system cards (we own the AI R&D capability assessments and adapted Epoch's Capabilities Index to our evals); all the data in When AI Builds Itself comes from our team. Internally, our measurements shape research priorities and safety planning; externally, they contribute to Anthropic's public reporting on the pace of AI progress and to collaborations with third-party evaluators. We're a small team that works closely with pretraining, RL, economics, and policy researchers across the company. If you're passionate about measurement accuracy, and feel urgency about safety and situational awareness, you should consider joining us. About the role As a Research Engineer on Takeoff Intel you'll build and run the evaluation and measurement instruments that make this research possible. This is a generalist role on a small team: you'll work across evals infrastructure, large-scale data processing, and analysis tooling, and you'll prioritize shipping. We build instruments that answer real questions and help set priorities, not dashboards that surface noise. We value working prototypes, rapid iteration, accuracy and good prioritization. We often need to go from a vague research question to a running instrument quickly. We're hiring at both junior and senior levels. Responsibilities Design, build, and run capability evaluations and measurement instruments at scale Build the data and analysis pipelines that turn large volumes of model outputs and telemetry into reliable metrics Prototype new instruments fast, validate them, and decide what to keep Review and supervise AI-written code as a normal part of the workflow Work closely with research scientists on the team and with partner teams to define what's worth measuring Contribute to internal write-ups and public reporting You may be a good fit if you Have shipped an evaluation, data product, or research library end to end Prototype fast and are comfortable throwing code away Handle messy, large-volume data without over-engineering Have run experiments on large language models, not just moved their outputs around Can work from a vague question rather than a spec Communicate results clearly and collaborate closely with the researchers whose questions your instruments answer Strong candidates may also have Built evaluation harnesses or benchmark infrastructure for LLMs Experience with large-scale ML or data infrastructure (self-driving, observability, or similar) alongside ML exposure Built tools or libraries that other researchers rely on A track record of catching what AI-written code gets wrong Some examples of our work Anthropic ECI: our adaptation of Epoch Capabilities Index published in all recent system cards to measure capability acceleration AI R&D capability assessments in the Claude system cards When AI Builds Itself : all data in the article comes from our team The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $350,000 — $850,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team. Your safety matters to us. To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. How we're different We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills. The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences. Come work with us! Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues. About the Team OpenAI's data and storage infrastructure spans data platforms, online databases, and file/object storage. These systems underpin data ingestion and processing, durable persistence, indexing and retrieval, and product file experiences. As frontier models and agents evolve how they use memory, history and snapshots, the underlying architecture increasingly shapes the capabilities products can deliver—and their latency, reliability, cost and efficiency. About the Role We are looking for a technically deep TPM to independently define and lead multiple programs across data platforms, online databases and storage infrastructure. You will connect model, product and data-consumer requirements to architecture, and work with the relevant engineering teams to take new capabilities through production adoption and repeatable expansion. The design scope is exabyte-scale storage and infrastructure spanning multiple millions of CPU cores. The challenge is not simply forecasting more resources: it is making complete, workload-ready capacity repeatable, with a clear path from product requirements through architecture, deployment and validation. A data pipeline, database query, file operation or execution snapshot can affect whether a product or agent succeeds; you will connect those outcomes to the systems underneath. This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees. In this role, you will: Translate model, product and data-platform needs into precise access patterns, consistency, durability, freshness, availability and scalability requirements. Connect memory, history, retrieval and resumable work to capability and end-to-end latency. Partner with engineering to transform data and storage architecture into repeatable scale units: standardized provisioning, placement, routing, data movement and readiness checks that bring storage, compute and networking online together. Tie each expansion to the workloads it can serve. Lead cross-stack programs connecting ingestion and processing, databases and indexes, and file/object storage. Make data ownership, schema compatibility, change-data-capture, replay and consumer-readiness contracts explicit so the full data path remains correct and usable. Make cost and efficiency architectural inputs. Evaluate physical versus logical footprint, index and replication amplification, redundant copies, tiering, caching and network movement against the cost of serving useful workloads. Drive resilience and recovery programs with explicit failure scenarios and validation. Distinguish database backup, failover and point-in-time recovery from execution/workspace save-and-restore; verify correctness, recovery time, safe resumption and isolation from live traffic. Coordinate lifecycle correctness across files, objects, databases and data platforms, including metadata, retention, deletion and snapshots. Incorporate privacy, access control, auditability and residency requirements into the design and consumer contracts. Lead adoption and major migrations through compatibility checks, representative workload testing, staged cutovers, rollback and operational handoff. Improve APIs, guardrails and self-service so new capacity and capabilities can be consumed predictably. Measure architecture changes through product and platform outcomes: task completion and continuity, data freshness, query/retrieval and snapshot latency, throughput, reliability and cost/efficiency. Use those results to drive durable performance and operational improvements. You might thrive in this role if you: Have independently owned complex production programs in data platforms, databases or storage infrastructure and can explain the architectural decisions, your contribution and the resulting impact. Have deep working knowledge of hyperscaler/cloud storage technologies, such as Amazon S3 or Azure Blob Storage, including their performance, placement, resiliency and cost constraints. Understand the full data and storage stack: product access patterns and APIs; ingestion and processing; databases, storage engines and indexes; caching, replication and data movement; and the durable-storage, CPU and network layers that support them. Can translate model, product and data-consumer needs into precise platform requirements, challenge assumptions and define evidence that a capability, recovery path or scaling change is ready. Have led delivery across product, model, data, database, storage and infrastructure teams, especially where no single team owns the end-to-end result. Can use workload evidence to make tradeoffs across capability, correctness, reliability, latency and cost/efficiency, and build mechanisms that improve decisions as requirements change. Communicate complex decisions clearly and maintain ownership through production adoption, not only a launch milestone.
