About the Team Like every team at OpenAI, the Marketing team contributes to our broader mission of ensuring responsible and widespread adoption of AI. With that aim in mind, we are responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and usage for OpenAI’s products and platform amongst our core audiences. We take a data-driven approach to understand our customers' needs and challenges, ensuring that their voices are reflected in product development and messaging. We then partner closely with product, engineering, developer relations, comms, and sales teams to create a cohesive customer experience across all our channels. Our focus extends beyond just promoting product features; we aim to provide valuable insights and resources that help our users make the most out of AI technologies. About the Role We’re looking for a Startup Content Marketing Manager who loves technology and wants to work closely with the founders building new products and companies with OpenAI. At OpenAI, you’ll work inside the company building the models and directly with founders turning those capabilities into new products and companies. You’ll try what they’re building and dig into the ideas, technical choices, and lessons behind their work. You’ll turn those discoveries into founder stories, practical guides, demos, and campaigns that help other builders see what’s possible and imagine what they could create next. This is a high-agency, hands-on individual-contributor role. You’ll own campaigns from the first founder conversation through publication and results. You’ll work with startup customers, ecosystem partners, and colleagues across OpenAI, with room to follow a promising idea, try an unexpected format, and make something founders genuinely want to read, watch, and share. In this role, you will: Build relationships with founders and technical teams, get hands-on with their products, and uncover stories and practical lessons other builders can apply to their own work. Own defined startup content campaigns from the first idea and creative brief through production, distribution, and measurement. Support co-marketing programs with startup customers and ecosystem partners, helping turn their work into stories that are valuable to both the featured company and the wider founder community. Write, create, and coordinate founder profiles, customer stories, practical guides, demos, and other content across social, email, events, partner channels, and founder communities. Partner with field and events teams to capture compelling ideas, conversations, and product moments, then turn them into content that reaches well beyond the room. Work with startup GTM, customer marketing, product marketing, social, and communications to make each story accurate, distinctive, and useful to its intended audience. Build clear briefs, editorial calendars, and repeatable workflows that help good ideas move quickly from discovery to publication. Define success, track performance, and use audience feedback and data to improve the stories, formats, and channels you pursue next. You might thrive in this role if you: Have 4+ years of experience in B2B, content, customer, or integrated marketing. Have worked with startup, founder, builder, or developer audiences and understand what earns their attention and trust. Can point to content campaigns or co-marketing programs you helped bring to life, explain your contribution, and show what you learned from the results. Take ownership of a defined project, make sound decisions with incomplete information, and keep work moving through ambiguity. Proactively identify and resolve blockers, flag risks early, and know when to ask for a decision, more context, or cross-functional support. Build strong relationships with founders, customers, and colleagues, and can bring people with different priorities together around a clear plan. Love the craft of storytelling. You ask good questions, notice the revealing detail, and can explain a technical idea clearly without losing what makes it interesting or accurate. Are deeply curious about technology and AI. You enjoy trying new products, understanding how they work, and talking with the people building them. About Anthropic Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the Role As a Technical Deployment Lead on the Forward Deployed Engineering team, you will lead the delivery of custom agentic AI solutions for enterprise customers. You'll own high-value engagements where we collaborate directly with customers to build and deploy agents into their most critical business processes Each engagement runs from SOW through production deployment. Forward Deployed Engineers build the technical solution; you drive the delivery plan, product scoping, stakeholder relationships, and the organizational complexity of deploying agents into complex enterprise environments. You need to be credible in architecture conversations with engineering leads and equally comfortable running executive briefings with C-suite sponsors. You won't write production code, but you'll pressure-test technical decisions and make real-time trade-offs on scope and priority when things go sideways on an engagement. This is also a builder's role. We're in the early innings of an emerging motion - the playbooks, the delivery patterns, the repeatable IP that makes the next engagement faster and better don't exist yet. The TDLs who thrive here are the ones who get that codifying what works is as important as the engagement in front of them right now. Responsibilities Own the technical delivery plan for each engagement. Work from the signed SOW to a sequenced roadmap with clear milestones, dependencies, success criteria, and value hypotheses that FDEs execute against. Lead delivery discovery. Map customer workflows and constraints in depth, pressure-test the scoped MVP against what you find, and shape the solution architecture with the FDEs. Run day-to-day engineering execution. Drive delivery across Anthropic and customer teams. Keep progress unblocked and sequenced. Make real-time trade-offs on scope and priority to protect the critical path. Own product scoping during delivery. Author requirements, prioritize the engineering backlog, manage scope against success criteria, and hold the bar for what good looks like for the people and enterprises who will use the product. Own the customer relationship throughout delivery. Lead executive briefings, manage stakeholder communications across technical leads and procurement, and represent Anthropic's technical credibility with senior business and engineering leaders. Own value measurement and ROI. Define impact hypotheses, set baselines and KPIs, run pre- and post-deployment measurement, and report outcomes to executive sponsors. Contribute reusable delivery patterns. Capture what works on your engagements and feed field signal to the Programs Leads, Product, and Research. Navigate enterprise and regulatory complexity. Security reviews, legal approvals, procurement processes, compliance requirements, and organizational dynamics. Manage scope and change. Handle evolving requirements, set expectations, negotiate contract modifications, identify risks early, and escalate with clear context when needed. Run engagement-level delivery operations: sprint ceremonies, milestone reviews, and engagement reporting that feed the team's post-sales cadence and dashboards. Travel to customer sites. Build relationships, unblock delivery, and accelerate adoption. (up to 25–50% travel expected). You May Be a Good Fit If You Have led AI/ML engagements/deployments, whether as a founder, data scientist, engineer, researcher, or in a professional services or consulting role. Operate like the CEO of your engagement. You take initiative without a mandate, make decisions with incomplete information, and lead rather than wait for instructions. Have delivered AI, ML, or LLM-based agentic solutions into production. You understand solution patterns, integration approaches, and what breaks in real environments. Have experience in a specialized vertical (life sciences, pharmaceutical, retail, mining, agriculture, etc.). Can navigate architecture discussions with engineering stakeholders, evaluate technical trade-offs, and pressure-test technical decisions. You won't write production code, but you will own the technical direction of engagements alongside FDEs. Have a track record delivering complex, high-stakes technical projects for enterprise clients where outcomes depended on tight coordination and fast decision-making - ideally across multiple workstreams in regulated industries. Have executive presence - polished, credible, and comfortable representing Anthropic to senior leaders in high-stakes environments. Thrive in ambiguity and bring structure where none exists. Have a builder's mindset - you're here to create a function, not just join one. The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. About the role Anthropic is scaling compute internationally — growing our footprint in new countries. We're hiring a Country Lead to be the single, accountable owner of our compute strategy in Japan: the person who leads a team of cross-functional experts driving site selection, leasing, energy, financing, government relations and policy, community engagement, construction, and operations. This person will be ultimately responsible for bringing gigawatts of compute online in Japan. You won't build this alone. The specialist functions — leasing, energy, policy, construction, finance — are hired and managed centrally by functional leads based in San Francisco. Your job is to provide cross-functional leadership over that team in-country: coordinating and driving accountability across workstreams, while representing Anthropic externally with government and industry counterparts in Japan. This is a high-ambiguity, high-trust role for someone who can bring structure to a fast-growing, cross-functional effort without needing formal authority to do it. Responsibilities Own the end-to-end strategy and coordination for Anthropic's compute build-out in Japan, from initial site selection through construction and operations. While each component will be run by subject matter experts, this role will act as the overall leader and coordinator of that team. Serve as the primary point of accountability for cross-functional workstreams; leasing, financing, energy, government relations/policy, community engagement, construction, and operations. Provide working leadership to the in-country cross-functional team, driving alignment and unblocking issues. Represent Anthropic with government officials, utilities, energy providers, and other external stakeholders in Japan. Build and maintain relationships within the Japanese government and the energy industry to support site, power, and policy outcomes. Track progress and surface risks across parallel workstreams as the country's compute footprint scales from initial sites to multiple gigawatts. Translate between Anthropic's global compute priorities and the specific regulatory, political, and market conditions in Japan. Requirements Japanese national with established links into government and the energy industry strongly preferred. Structured thinker with a track record of learning new domains quickly and going deep fast. Excellent communicator, comfortable representing Anthropic to senior government, utility, and industry stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams without direct line authority. Hyper-organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to own multiple concurrent workstreams at once. Comfortable with ambiguity; a problem solver who drives structure into undefined situations. Background in energy, infrastructure, or a related sector. Nice to have Prior experience with large-scale infrastructure or datacenter development. Existing relationships with Japanese federal or provincial government bodies relevant to energy, land use, or industrial development. Experience managing or overseeing capital-intensive projects. Familiarity with the compute, cloud, or datacenter industry. Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices. Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this. We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team. Your safety matters to us. How we're different We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. About the role: We are hiring our first Tokyo-based Product Support Specialists, who will grow our global presence as a team and serve as champions of our unique support brand. You’ll be at the front lines of safely delivering AI to the world by responding to, investigating, and tracking user needs in your day to day. Additionally, you’ll help us identify – and close – gaps in our team’s technical knowledge, provide high-touch support to strategic customers, and demonstrate deep care for how we systematically support customers at scale. This role requires native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency, as candidates will support both Japanese-speaking customers and those across APAC/ANZ in English. Note: Specialists in Tokyo will work 10am - 6pm, Monday to Friday. Responsibilities: Become an expert in all Anthropic products Respond to user support cases, in English and Japanese, with a variety of complexity, from simple billing or account questions for individuals to complex API debugging for large businesses Clearly and empathetically communicate with a wide range of user personas, context-switching between guiding executives in a high-touch model to assisting consumer users in a rapid pace Manage on-call tasks for high-urgency user issues with extreme ownership. This includes being on critical ‘pager duty’ during APAC hours to ensure 24/7 Support for Critical Queries. Prioritize critically and comfortably adapt to an ever-evolving product landscape Operate in ambiguity, making informed decisions even in never-before-seen situations Partner with engineers, teammates, and other internal stakeholders to diagnose and resolve user issues, both individually and at scale Suggest and drive improvements to increase user satisfaction through support processes as well as own initiatives that increase efficiency and drive down contact rates Uplevel our team’s technical knowledge by scoping gaps, working with cross-functional partners to deeply understand relevant nuances, and building resources that grow with our products You may be a good fit if you: Have experience in providing technical product support, in both English and Japanese, within a second tier, escalated, or priority support team. Are familiar with APIs and technical SaaS products and can deeply understand technical docs with ease Have demonstrated an ability to thrive in fast-paced, reactive situations while meeting core support metrics targets (e.g. CSAT, SLA, etc.) Possess strong user empathy and are expert in the lifecycle of a support case; you can read between the lines of a user’s question, put yourself in their shoes, and get at the heart of their needs for a speedy, satisfying resolution Have crisp but kind written communication skills and a deep care for the details Enjoy helping others learn about new features and complex concepts Are persistent and curious; you delight in the hunt of tracking down a bug or issue, and are energized by fixing this for all similar users going forward Have experience contributing to the foundations of a support team – this is essential, highly valuable, but often unglamorous work. And particularly key for this role due to it being among the first Support hires in APAC. Are proficient at working in a technical environment and are interested in Anthropic’s products Possess a deep sense of ownership, and are excited to help us build our team! About the role Anthropic is building AI systems that will shape the trajectory of one of the most consequential technologies in human history. That work requires physical infrastructure at significant scale, and building that infrastructure the right way means being a real, long-term partner to the communities where we operate. We are looking for a Community Engagement Manager in Australia to join our Public Policy team and serve as Anthropic's on-the-ground presence in the communities where our data centres are sited, built, and operated. This is not a communications role or a government affairs role, though you will do elements of both. It is a relationship role: your job is to make Anthropic a trusted, visible, and valued neighbour, from the earliest stages of site selection through construction and long-term operations. You will be the connective tissue between Anthropic's Policy and Infrastructure teams and the local officials, community organisations, economic development partners, and residents who have a stake in what we build. You will surface concerns before they escalate, translate our technical and operational plans into clear local benefits, and build the coalitions that allow us to move quickly and responsibly. Because Anthropic's infrastructure footprint is still early in its growth, you will also help write the playbook: the processes you build in your first markets are the ones we will use as we expand. You will travel regularly within your region, up to 50% of the time, and occasionally to other Anthropic data centre markets. Key responsibilities Build and maintain trusted, sustained relationships with local councils, state government ministers and agencies, regional development organisations, community groups, civic leaders, educational institutions, and workforce partners in the data centre markets you cover Develop and execute a community engagement strategy for each of your markets, spanning site selection, pre-development, construction, and ongoing operations Build external coalitions, host education and listening sessions, and design local solutions that deliver real benefits to the communities where we operate Represent Anthropic in public forums, town halls, planning hearings, community events, and local media Monitor community sentiment and local political dynamics, and advise internal teams on risks, opportunities, and the right pace and posture for engagement Partner with the Real Estate and Infrastructure team to bring community input into how projects are planned, communicated, and delivered, not just how they are announced Work with the Communications team to develop proactive, locally relevant messaging Coordinate charitable donations, community investment, and economic development commitments in your markets, including managing not for profit partner relationships Partner with the Energy and Sustainability team to explain our approach to environmental stewardship and respond to questions about power, water, and land use Build a community engagement playbook and repeatable processes that scale as Anthropic's infrastructure footprint grows Minimum qualifications Experience in community affairs, public affairs, economic development, government relations, local council or state government, or a closely related field Direct experience working for or engaging with local councils, both elected councillors and council staff, and state governments on behalf of large infrastructure, construction, energy, or technology projects, with a working understanding of how local politics and community dynamics actually play out A skilled relationship and coalition builder who earns trust with a diverse group of stakeholders, and who maintains relationships through difficult conversations The ability to represent a company credibly in public settings — town halls, hearings, press interviews Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to turn a complex operational plan into plain language that a local official or reporter can understand and respond to The ability to work independently, get up to speed quickly on complex policy issues, and manage multiple concurrent engagements across different markets without losing track of any of them Based in Australia or willing to relocate there, and prepared to travel regularly across the region Preferred qualifications 7+ years of experience in community engagement specifically on data centre, utility, energy, or large-scale industrial infrastructure projects, or in local government Familiarity with land use, zoning, and planning approval processes at the local and regional level Experience managing corporate social responsibility programs Established relationships with economic development, workforce, or civic organisations in the markets this role covers Experience working with real estate, legal, communications, and policy teams at the same time A genuine interest in the communities where you work, not just the projects you are managing Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. About the role Training and serving frontier AI models requires data center capacity at a scale and pace that conventional delivery models were not built for. Anthropic's Data Center Capacity Delivery team embeds with developers, general contractors, and third-party partners to take leased and partnered sites from deal close through floor access and operational handover as fast as they can safely be built. As a Regional Manager, you'll own delivery across a regional portfolio of active and upcoming projects. You'll build and lead the team of Senior Delivery Managers and third-party partners who sit on those sites, set the standards they execute to, and step in yourself where a project needs it. You are the executive-level interface to our developer partners in the region and the intake point for projects handed over from our transaction team. This is a highly cross-functional role: you'll work daily with our transaction, design engineering, facility operations and commissioning, deployment, and safety teams, and with developers, GCs, and owner's-representative firms on the ground. MOC (Mission + Outcomes + Competencies) Mission Deliver the region’s data center projects to floor access as fast as they can safely be built. Outcomes Every active project in the region delivered against early-floor-access and floor-access milestones. Senior Delivery Manager team hired and led; owner’s-rep partners contracted and managed. Delivery standards (schedule, quality, change control, reporting) enforced across the portfolio. Executive reporting on progress vs plan and regional capacity projections in place. Competencies Senior owner- or GC-side mission-critical delivery leadership. Builds and leads multi-project teams. Executive-level developer and GC relationship management. Leads on site through presence; owns outcomes where no process exists. Responsibilities Lead. This is a role where leadership trumps management and process. You are expected to be on the region's sites enough to shape the culture, approach, and aggressiveness that define the extended teams there — across the portfolio, not one project — and to impact outcomes in a favorable manner. Be a force multiplier. Hire, develop, empower, and lead the Senior Delivery Managers on those sites, and raise the skillset developers, contractors, owner's-rep partners, and key trades bring to every project in the region; plan resourcing and headcount as the portfolio grows. Own portfolio execution for the region — schedule, quality, and safety outcomes on every active project, measured against early-floor-access and floor-access milestones. You are empowered and have autonomy to own this region's record of performance. Drive ownership and influence both inside and outside contractual structures: select, scope, contract, and manage owner's-rep and project-management partners; where contracts, incentives, or culture get in the way of speed, change them, and replace partners when performance or culture slips Set and enforce delivery standards across projects — integrated schedule, quality requirements, change control, reporting, and tools — and validate that they are met Identify blockers early and clear them across developer, GC, and trade layers; step in on site where a project needs it You may be a good fit if you Have 10+ years delivering data center or other mission-critical construction, including several as the owner's or GC's senior leader on a project campus Have led a multi-project portfolio and built the team that delivered it Know the end-to-end development process — entitlements and permitting, design, long-lead equipment, construction, commissioning, and handover — well enough to direct partners rather than take their word for it Have managed developer, GC, and third-party relationships at the executive level and can move them from arm's-length contract administration to shared urgency Lead through presence: you expect to be on site most of the time and to set the pace and culture of extended teams you don't directly employ Communicate clearly with technical and non-specialist stakeholders and hold a position when challenged Are comfortable with ambiguity and with owning outcomes where no process exists yet Strong candidates may also have Hyperscale data center delivery experience on the owner, developer, or GC side Experience with the Australian and Japanese/Korean market — its contractors, permitting regimes, and contractual norms Familiarity with lease, construction, and development contract structures and how to align their incentives around speed Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills. The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences. Come work with us! Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.
