Head of Partner Account Management & Ecosystem BD
About Anthropic Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the role Anthropic's services partner ecosystem is a critical channel for bringing Claude to enterprise customers worldwide. This ecosystem spans the full spectrum of services firms — from global system integrators and the world's largest consultancies, to specialist and regional SIs, to our growing cohort of AI-native boutique partners. Together, their reach, vertical depth, and delivery capacity are essential to scaling Claude's enterprise footprint. Managing this breadth well requires rigor, repeatability, and a team that can drive meaningful joint outcomes across a portfolio of partners that differ widely in scale, operating model, and maturity. We're looking for a Head of Partner Management & Ecosystem BD to lead the team of Partner Account Managers responsible for the full range of our services partnerships and to develop and execute commercial strategies for the ecosystem in partnership with Sales. You'll coach and develop a team of PAMs, shape the operating model for how we engage each segment of the ecosystem, and build the programs, playbooks, and measurement systems that let us scale with quality. You'll work closely with partnerships leadership, sales, product, and customer success to ensure our partners are equipped to win and deliver transformative AI solutions for their clients. The commercial side of this role is as important as the team-leadership side. Working hand in hand with Sales leadership, you'll define where and how partners create revenue for Anthropic — which partners we co-sell with in which accounts and industries, how partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline is built and forecast, and what a joint account plan looks like when both sides own the number. You'll develop new ways of going to market, while also managing the tri-party motion with our cloud service partners and tech company partnerships, so that a services partner, a cloud platform, and Anthropic show up to a customer as one coordinated offer rather than three separate conversations. This role sits at the intersection of team leadership, partner strategy, and operational execution. You'll stay close enough to the work to engage directly with partner leadership when it matters, while investing most of your time in making your team and the broader ecosystem more effective over time. Key responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop a team of Partner Account Managers covering Anthropic's services partners, from global SIs and consultancies through to AI-native boutique partners Set clear expectations, goals, and operating standards; hold the team accountable to partner revenue, pipeline, and program outcomes Hire and retain exceptional talent; build a team culture grounded in rigor, partnership, and care for Anthropic's mission Develop and execute commercial strategies for the partner ecosystem in partnership with Sales — defining joint account plans, co-sell priorities by segment and industry, and pipeline and revenue targets that both organizations own Develop new ways of going to market, while also managing the tri-party motion with our cloud service partners and tech company partnerships Build the rules of engagement between PAMs and account teams: how partners are brought into deals, how sourced and influenced pipeline is attributed and forecast, and how conflicts are resolved Identify and launch new partner-led routes to market — industry solutions, packaged offerings, marketplace transactions — and prove them out with a small set of partners before scaling across the portfolio Own the ecosystem's contribution to the revenue plan; report on partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline, bookings, and consumption to partnerships and sales leadership Shape the operating model for each segment of the ecosystem: how PAMs plan with partners, run QBRs, forecast, track partner health, and prioritize their time across a portfolio Design engagement models that fit the partner — executive-level, multi-threaded relationships with global SIs alongside scalable, programmatic coverage for boutique and regional partners Partner with the broader SI program to adapt tier structure, benefits, and requirements to partner dynamics Build and evolve playbooks that help PAMs recruit, onboard, activate, and grow partners consistently Work with enablement, product, and solutions teams to ensure partners have the training, certifications, and technical resources they need to build and deliver production-grade Claude solutions Identify gaps in partner readiness, drive cross-functional investment to close them, and ensure consistent quality of partner engagement across the team Collaborate with sales, partner operations, marketing, legal, and finance to remove friction and accelerate joint outcomes Surface partner, market, and product insights to inform Anthropic's broader partner strategy and roadmap, and represent the business in partnership leadership forums Minimum qualifications Experience leading partner sales, channel sales, alliances, or partner management at a technology company, including ownership of a revenue number Experience managing partner-facing teams, including senior individual contributors A track record of driving revenue through SI or consulting partner channels, consistently meeting or exceeding targets Executive-level relationships with C-level and partner-level stakeholders at major consulting and services firms Experience developing and executing commercial strategy jointly with a Sales organization, including co-sell motions, joint account planning, and partner-sourced pipeline that shows up in the revenue plan Strong commercial acumen and comfort coaching a team through complex deals, partner negotiations, and multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles Fluency with partner KPIs, pipeline forecasting, and dashboards, and experience using data to drive team and program decisions Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, from partner practitioners to senior executives, both externally and internally Willingness to travel to support partner relationships and joint customer engagements Interest in AI and a commitment to Anthropic's mission of building safe, beneficial AI systems Preferred qualifications A track record of building and scaling a commercially focused partnerships organization, from early stage to mature operations — defining the strategy, hiring the team, establishing the operating cadence, and delivering measurable revenue outcomes Experience running multi-party go-to-market motions with cloud service providers and technology partners, and a clear view on how to keep those motions aligned when incentives diverge Familiarity with hyperscaler co-sell programs and marketplace-led transactions, and experience launching a new partner route to market from concept to repeatable motion Experience building or scaling partner programs — tier structures, enablement, playbooks, and operating cadences — in a fast-growing environment Experience managing a portfolio that spans both a small number of top-tier strategic accounts and a broad base of smaller partners, and a view on how to drive leverage across both Direct experience working with or at global SIs or consultancies, and/or with specialist, regional, or AI-native boutique services firms Experience in AI, cloud platforms, or other high-growth technology categories where partner enablement and technical differentiation are critical Experience managing partner teams across multiple geographies and cultures A background that spans partner management and adjacent disciplines such as direct enterprise sales, partner sales, or alliances strategy Comfort with ambiguity and a track record of creating structure in emerging programs A point of view on how AI is reshaping the SI ecosystem and how Anthropic should engage global SIs, specialist partners, and AI-native boutiques differently The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $425,000 — $580,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices. Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this. We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team. Your safety matters to us. To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit anthropic.com/careers directly for confirmed position openings. How we're different We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills. The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences. Come work with us! Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues. Product Manager, Business Technology
About the role Anthropic runs on a home-grown internal employee collaboration platform, that Ants use every day to plan, coordinate, and get work done alongside Claude. Today it is a widely used tool. We want it to become the centerpiece of how Anthropic works: the surface where people, teams, and Claude agents collaborate, and a living demonstration of what an AI-native company looks like from the inside. You will be the first dedicated Product Manager for this platform, paired with a dedicated engineering team. You will own the product end to end: the vision for where it goes, the roadmap that gets it there, and the outcomes that prove it worked. The scope is company-wide, every employee is your customer, and the platform's success is a company-level goal, not a team-level one. "And more" is deliberate. As the platform matures, we expect it to inform how Anthropic shows enterprise customers what internal Claude adoption can look like, and potentially to shape external products. You will help decide where that line sits. What you'll do Set direction and drive a company-wide outcome Define the product vision and a 3-6 month strategy for making the platform the default home for cross-functional collaboration at Anthropic, and get alignment from leadership across Security/IT, Engineering, Research, and G&A. Own adoption, engagement, and satisfaction outcomes at the company level. Set the metrics, instrument them, and be accountable for moving them with clear attribution. Prioritize ruthlessly against a demand signal that will always exceed capacity; say no well and explain why. Ship, fast and with craft Lead a dedicated engineering team from discovery through launch. Write the specs, make the calls, and keep velocity high without drama or burnout. Set and hold the quality bar. The platform should feel like a product Anthropic would be proud to ship externally, not an internal tool people tolerate. Drive multiple workstreams in parallel core collaboration primitives, Claude-agent integration, integrations with the rest of the internal stack (Slack, Google Workspace, Claude Support, and others). Build AGI-first Design for where models will be in 3,6,12 months, not where they are today. Assume Claude is a participant in collaboration, not a feature bolted onto it. Partner closely with Research, Labs, and product teams on the Claude side so internal and external product thinking reinforce each other. Own the safety, privacy, and data-handling tradeoffs inherent in a platform that touches company-wide information. Make the hard calls; don't defer them upward. Stay close to the customer Build a systematic understanding of how different Ants and teams actually work: engineers, researchers, GTM, G&A, leadership. Let that voice shape strategy, not just individual features. Run regular discovery, dogfooding, and feedback loops; nothing about a launch should surprise you afterward. Elevate the org Establish PM craft inside Business Technology, a group that has strong engineers and operators but has not had product management before you. Create the artifacts, rituals, and standards others reuse. Uplevel cross-functional partners: help engineering, IT, and business stakeholders think in outcomes and customer problems. Contribute to PM hiring and help attract talent to Anthropic. What we're looking for We hire on demonstrated impact — what you have shipped and moved — not on scope owned, team size, or tenure. Impact A track record of outcomes that affected a company-wide goal, with clear attribution to you, ideally on a platform, productivity, or collaboration product with a large user base (internal or external). You create clarity in chaos: you are the person people go to when no one knows what to do, and you relentlessly find the right answer rather than the assigned one. Velocity is a signature. You have driven a company-wide initiative to completion, and you can juggle several at once one goal that took all your capacity is not enough at this level. High craft is evident in what you ship; quality issues don't keep surfacing after launch. Judgment You build for frontier AI. You have shipped products that leverage new model capabilities and you design for where capabilities are going, not just where they are. Others learn to build AGI-first by watching you. You are trusted to navigate difficult safety, privacy, and data tradeoffs, and you have slowed down or changed course for safety reasons before. Deep, systematic customer understanding. Customer voice shapes your strategy, and you are trusted on user tradeoffs. Leadership You improve PM craft as a whole, not just your own output, and you uplevel the cross-functional people around you. People inside and outside product credit growth to you. Knowledge you create becomes org capability rather than staying in your head. You operate on behalf of the company, not your team. Strong signals for this role specifically Experience building or scaling collaboration, workflow, or productivity platforms (e.g., internal tools at scale, workplace/collaboration SaaS, developer or knowledge platforms). Comfort operating inside an IT/Security org and partnering with engineering-heavy stakeholders. Product background that spans consumer-grade polish and enterprise-grade constraints (identity, permissions, data classification, auditability). Hands-on with Claude or other frontier models in building products, not just using them. Why this role Genuine whitespace. First PM on the platform, first PM in Business Technology, dedicated engineering team, executive attention. A customer you can reach. Every user is a colleague. Discovery is a Slack message away, and feedback loops are measured in hours. Frontier leverage. You get to build a collaboration product where Claude is a first-class participant, at the company building Claude. Impact beyond the walls. What you build becomes part of how Anthropic tells the story of an AI-native company to enterprise customers. The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. About the role: As an Applied AI team member at Anthropic, you will be a cybersecurity specialist working alongside our enterprise account teams to help the world’s largest organizations use Claude to secure the systems and software they build and run. You’ll combine deep security expertise with customer-facing skills to help customers along their cybersecurity journey with Claude, wherever they are starting from, and wherever they want to go. Enterprise security teams are at very different stages with AI: some are running their first experiments, others are ready to put Claude to work across their security program. They also span every kind of organization, each with its own priorities: regulated industries like financial services, insurance, and healthcare; strategic accounts like semiconductors, focused on protecting IP, securing industrial control systems, and handling export controls; and digital natives and public sector agencies with their own threat models. You’ll meet customers where they are, help identify where Claude can take on meaningful security work, and guide them from early pilots to lasting, production security workloads. Along the way, you’ll help security leaders explain the value of this work in terms their executives care about. Working closely with our Sales, Product, Research and Engineering teams, you’ll guide customers from technical discovery through deployment, and you’ll work with the partners in the security ecosystem — ISVs, systems integrators, and managed security providers — that already serve these customers, enabling them where they own the engagement rather than competing with them. Responsibilities: Partner with account executives and account architects to understand a customer’s security program, identify where Claude can take on real security work, and translate that into a technical plan and a business case Serve as the primary security-domain technical advisor to large enterprise customers, from discovery and initial evaluation through deployment, coordinating internally across multiple teams and stakeholders to drive customer success Move customers from one-time code scanning to sustained security workloads: application security embedded in the software development lifecycle, continuous automated penetration testing, alert triage and investigation, and threat intelligence that answers “does this new vulnerability affect us, and where” Build and maintain the reference implementations, harnesses, and evaluation approaches customers use to run these workloads with Claude, and help customers adapt them to their own environments and controls Design and run workshops and hands-on sessions where customer security teams engage directly with Claude on their own code and workflows Work with security industry partners on shared accounts, enabling them to deliver Claude-powered security outcomes and drawing a clear line between what Anthropic delivers directly and what partners deliver Deliver technical content across the full range of audiences: deep dives with security engineers and appsec teams, and value- and risk-focused conversations with CISOs and executives Define and track how deeply each security workload is adopted across your accounts, and work with our Product and Engineering teams on the telemetry needed to measure it Write the playbooks and best practices for each security workload that the rest of the field can reuse, including how Claude complements the security tooling customers already own Identify common patterns and feature gaps and contribute insights back to our Product and Engineering teams Develop reference customers who can speak to the value they are realizing Travel occasionally to customer sites for workshops, technical deep dives, and relationship building Maintain strong knowledge of the latest developments in LLM capabilities and in the security landscape, including the new classes of vulnerabilities and attacks that frontier models surface You may be a good fit if you have: 5+ years of experience in security roles, with hands-on depth in at least two of: application security and secure SDLC, offensive security and penetration testing, detection and response, or threat intelligence and vulnerability management Experience in technical customer-facing roles such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, security consultant, or Technical Account Manager, or in a security team where you had to win investment from leadership Experience working with large enterprise customers, navigating complex buying cycles involving multiple stakeholders, and working alongside the vendors and partners already in the account The ability to explain the value and risk of security work to CISOs and executives, and to translate between security teams, engineering teams, and the business Comfort with Python and with CI/CD and cloud environments, and direct experience integrating tooling into an engineering workflow Familiarity with common LLM frameworks and tools, and practical experience using LLMs for security work — code review, vulnerability discovery, triage, or investigation Excitement for engaging in cross-organizational collaboration, working through trade-offs, and balancing competing priorities A love of teaching, mentoring, and helping others succeed Passion for thinking creatively about how to use technology in a way that is safe and beneficial, and ultimately furthers the goal of advancing safe AI systems Strong candidates may also have: Experience building or operating security automation at scale — scanning pipelines, triage systems, or detection engineering Experience serving a broad range of customers and the security priorities that come with each: regulated industries such as financial services, insurance, or healthcare; strategic accounts such as semiconductors, where the concerns are protecting IP, securing industrial control systems, and handling export controls; and digital-native and public sector organizations Experience working with or at a security ISV, systems integrator, or managed security provider Contributions to open-source security tooling, published research, or CVEs to your name The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
