About the Team The Agent Safety team works to ensure that increasingly capable AI agents act safely, exercise sound judgment, and remain aligned with user intent. Our mission is to reduce the probability of severe unintended outcomes from increasingly capable AI agents while preserving their ability to act effectively and autonomously. Our work spans three areas: Training: Create training methods, environments and data that teach agents to make better decisions in consequential situations. We turn real-world failures into training signals that prevent similar incidents, and identify precursor behaviors and mitigations to address emerging risks. Measurements: Build evaluations and production metrics that identify emerging risks and measure whether our interventions work. Oversight : Develop oversight and system mitigation mechanisms that reduce harmful actions while preserving useful agent autonomy (for example future versions of auto-review ). About the Role This role focuses on oversight and system-level mitigations that enable increasingly capable agents to operate safely and autonomously in real environments. We prioritize building oversight systems that are used in practice today, both internally and externally (see our recent work on action monitoring for codex and former code review ). We also study longer-term questions about how increasingly capable agentis systems can be supervised, constrained, and corrected. We’re looking for a safety&security minded researcher or engineer who can reason rigorously about security boundaries and agent behavior, then build and test practical mitigations. A background in AI control or security is welcome but not required. This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees. In this role, you will: Design, build, and evaluate system-level controls for agent actions like agent-based review. Plan how they fit in a broader system including sandboxing with process isolation and permission boundaries. Work closely with a Codex harness engineering team to productionize the AI controls. Red-team end-to-end agentic systems to measure whether controls prevent data exfiltration, unsafe tool use, and other harmful outcomes. Improve the safety–productivity tradeoff by measuring and reducing missed harmful actions, unnecessary blocks, approval burden, and latency. You might thrive in this role if you: Have strong systems or security instincts and can reason concretely about isolation boundaries, permissions, attack surfaces, and failure modes in complex systems. Enjoy turning ambiguous safety questions into concrete threat models, reproducible experiments, and practical mitigations, and revising your approach based on evidence from deployment. Can build robust experimental infrastructure and design evaluations that distinguish promising mitigations from brittle ones. Are deeply interested in frontier AI alignment, safety and control. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit anthropic.com/careers directly for confirmed position openings. How we're different We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills. The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences. Come work with us! Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues. About Supabase Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth. About the Role Supabase's Partnerships function is scaling fast - spanning Technology Partners, Solution Partners, Startups, and Cloud Partnerships. We're looking for a Partner Operations & Systems Lead to own the operational and technical backbone that lets this team move quickly and make decisions with good data. This is a senior, hands-on role. You'll design the systems, processes, and reporting that the whole partnerships org runs on - and, increasingly, you'll build the internal tools yourself. Supabase is investing heavily in AI-assisted development to move faster than a traditional ops build cycle allows, and this role is expected to be a leading example of that inside Partnerships. You'll report directly to the Head of Partnerships and sit alongside our regional and functional leads as a peer, with the mandate to build and enforce operational rigor across all teams. Beyond the infrastructure, we want someone who helps shape where Partnerships places its bets - not just the system that reports on them. What You'll Own Systems & Data Infrastructure Own the partner tech stack end-to-end - CRM partner objects, attribution tooling, and partner-facing portals. Design and maintain partner attribution models and the dashboards leadership uses to evaluate performance. Ensure data hygiene and consistency across partner records, deals, and touchpoints spanning all sub-functions. Process & Program Management Design and run partner onboarding, tiering, and certification programs. Own the RFC / DRI decision-making framework for the partnerships team, including how it's used and refined over time. Run deal-registration and "quarterback" account-ownership processes that keep internal teams aligned on partner-sourced deals. Build and maintain the playbooks, SOPs, and enablement materials that let the team scale without you in every meeting. Internal Tooling & Automation Build internal automations that remove manual ops work - e.g., auto-generated partner performance reports, HubSpot-to-Slack syncs, or deal-conflict alerts - using AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code. Prototype and ship lightweight internal apps and dashboards (partner health scorecards, RFC trackers, cross-tool syncs) without waiting on a shared data engineering backlog. Act as technical owner for partnerships' internal tools: write the spec, build it, test it, ship it, and maintain it. Know where the line is between a quick internal script and something that needs to be handed to Data/Engineering for production hardening - and manage that handoff cleanly. Reporting & Analytics Produce recurring performance reporting on partner-attributed revenue and pipeline influence. Own the metrics and KPI framework the partnerships team is measured against. Support QBRs and board-level reporting on partnership performance. Strategic Contribution Contribute to partner segmentation, tiering, and prioritization strategy - bringing data and operational reality to bear on where the team should invest. Challenge existing assumptions in the partner motion (which tiers, which incentive structures, which sub-functions get resourced) using evidence from the systems you own. Partner with the Head of Partnerships on strategic planning cycles - translating operational signal into recommendations, not just dashboards. Own execution of agreed strategic direction: once a call is made, drive the operational and cross-functional work to make it real. Cross-Functional Leadership Serve as the connective tissue between Partnerships, Sales, RevOps, Legal, and Finance. Ensure partner agreement terms are correctly reflected in systems and reporting. Sit at the table for partner segmentation, tiering, and incentive-structure decisions as a contributor and challenger, not just an operator reporting on them after the fact. What We're Looking For 7+ years in partner operations, revenue operations, or a related ops function, including experience designing (not just running) a program at scale. Proven ownership of a partner or revenue tech stack - you've made the build/buy/migrate calls, not just administered someone else's setup. Comfortable operating as the operational voice in exec-level rooms - QBRs, board prep, and cross-functional planning. Hands-on fluency with AI-assisted development (Claude Code or similar) - you can scope a problem, prompt effectively, review the output critically, and ship something real. A point of view on partner economics - rev share modeling, LTV by partner type - that can inform deal structuring, not just track it after signature. A track record of shaping strategic decisions, not just implementing them - comfortable pressure-testing a plan in the room and then owning the execution once direction is set. Experience managing a small team or dotted-line relationships across regions or sub-functions. Excellent written communication - you can turn ambiguity into a clear framework or a one-page decision doc. Nice to Have Experience with HubSpot (custom partner objects, multi-touch attribution), Clazar for cloud co-sell, and Linear for project management. Background in a developer-tools or platform business with a partner-driven go-to-market motion. Prior experience building internal tools or scripts, even informally, before AI-assisted development made it mainstream. How We'll Evaluate Alongside standard interviews, candidates will complete a short build exercise: given a messy partner-data problem, show us how you'd use Claude Code (or a similar tool) to solve it. We're evaluating judgment and problem-scoping as much as the output itself. What We Offer Fully Remote We hire globally. We believe you can do your best work from anywhere. There are no Supabase offices, but we provide a WeWork membership or co-working allowance you can use anywhere in the world. ESOP Every team member receives ESOP (equity ownership) in the company. We want everyone to share in the upside of what we’re building together. Tech Allowance Use this budget to set up your ideal work environment—laptop, monitor, headphones, or whatever helps you do your best work. Health Benefits Supabase covers 100% of health insurance for employees and 80% for dependents, wherever you are. Your wellbeing and your family’s health are important to us. Annual Off-Sites Once a year, the entire company gathers in a new city for a week of connection, collaboration, and fun. It’s a highlight of our year. Flexible Work We operate asynchronously and trust you to manage your own time. You know what needs to be done and when. Professional Development Every team member receives an annual education allowance to spend on learning—courses, books, conferences, or anything that supports your growth. About the Team Supabase was born-remote and open-source-first. We believe our globally distributed team is our secret weapon in building tools developers love. ~400 team members 60+ countries 20+ languages spoken Over $1B raised (including our $500M Series F) 540,000+ community members We move fast, build in public, and use what we ship. If it’s in your project, we probably use it in ours too. We believe deeply in the open-source ecosystem and strive to support—not replace—existing tools and communities.

About Anthropic Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the role: When you see what modern language models are capable of, do you wonder, "How do these things work? How can we trust them?" The Interpretability team at Anthropic works to understand what's actually happening inside trained models - and applies our best techniques to keep frontier AI safe as it rapidly improves. Think of us as doing "neuroscience" of neural networks using "microscopes" we build - or reverse-engineering neural networks like binary programs. More resources to learn about our work: Our Research blog - covering advances including Monosemantic Features and Circuits An Intro to Interpretability from our research lead, Chris Olah The Urgency of Interpretability from CEO Dario Amodei Engineering Challenges Scaling Interpretability - directly relevant to this role 60 Minutes segment - see a demo of tooling our team built New Yorker article - what it's like to work on one of AI's hardest open problems This role is an early hire on a new infrastructure effort within Interpretability: you'll help define its charter, not just execute it. Interpretability research requires deep access to frontier models while retaining a high degree of research flexibility. Your job is to build the paved path that makes that access secure by default, private by design, and low-friction for every researcher. The work spans four areas: Security : design the secure-by-default environments and access patterns that enable deep model access for an organization whose research requires it - done well, the same design improves both our security posture and research productivity. Privacy : build data-access patterns that ensure policy adherence as our research moves from theory into practical application Data & Compute Management : manage research data at petabyte scale and make efficient use of large accelerator fleets - storage lifecycle, capacity planning, and scheduling. Developer experience : agentic engineering, tooling and observability that keep researchers moving fast In this role, you’ll be deeply embedded alongside Interp Researchers to understand their workflows - building your understanding of the research as you go; at the same time you’ll bridge communication with Anthropic’s wider platform and security teams.. Every hour of researcher friction you remove is multiplied across the whole organization, and the infrastructure you build sets the pace at which interpretability results reach real safety decisions. Responsibilities: Design, build, and own shared infrastructure for Interpretability - research environments, data systems, and compute tooling that researchers rely on daily Lead cross-team efforts with our agentic engineering , security, compute, and storage platform teams, so that company-wide solutions serve research needs Discover and resolve major organization-wide developer experience issues Help take interpretability methods from research code to dependable audit pipelines You may be a good fit if you: Are highly proficient in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Rust, Go, Java) and productive with Python Have significant experience building and operating secure and scalable software infrastructure - cloud systems, distributed systems, or developer tooling Have strong cross-functional communication skills - equally at home working with researchers and with platform and security teams Are extremely curious about unfamiliar domains Have a strong ability to prioritize the most impactful work and are comfortable operating with ambiguity and questioning assumptions Are curious about interpretability research and its role in AI safety (though no research experience is required!) Care about the societal impacts and ethics of your work Strong candidates may also have: Experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g. GCP or AWS), Kubernetes, networking and infrastructure-as-code Security engineering experience: identity / auth / access management, sandboxing, red teaming Experience with data warehousing, large-scale storage systems, and data lifecycle management - especially for research Experience with compute schedulers and accelerator fleet management Experience building developer productivity tooling and observability stacks Experience building tooling to accelerate research teams Representative Projects: Design and stand up a hardened research environment where researchers experiment directly on frontier model weights Build lifecycle management for petabytes of research data - visibility, retention, and cost efficiency Build self-serve scheduling and capacity tooling Create the observability that catch infrastructure regressions before they cost researchers valuable time Role Specific Location Policy: This role is based in the San Francisco office; however, we are open to considering exceptional candidates for remote work on a case-by-case basis. The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $405,000 — $485,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices. Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this. We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team. Your safety matters to us. To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day.
