About the Team The Industrial Security team enables OpenAI’s classified and national security work by building secure, compliant programs that support government customers and protect sensitive information. Within Industrial Security, the Personnel Security function ensures employees have the clearances, accesses, briefings, and government approvals required to support classified programs. We work closely with employees, program teams, government customers, and partners across Security, People, Recruiting, Legal, IT, and Facilities to make complex security processes accurate, timely, and understandable. About the Role As a Personnel Security Specialist, you will own the day-to-day personnel security operations that allow OpenAI employees to support classified government work. You will manage clearance and access requests, maintain government-system records, coordinate visits and briefings, support onboarding and offboarding, and guide employees through sensitive security requirements with discretion and care. We’re looking for a hands-on security professional who can independently manage a high-volume operational queue, keep cases and records organized, recognize when issues require escalation, and improve the processes behind the work. This role offers the opportunity to help build a modern personnel security function that supports important national security programs while delivering a thoughtful, responsive employee experience. This role is based in San Francisco, CA, or Washington, DC. We use a hybrid work model of three days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees. Additional onsite presence and occasional travel may be required based on classified program and government customer needs. In this role, you will: Own the daily personnel security workload from intake through completion, including clearance verification, access nominations, visit requests, onboarding, offboarding, briefings, and reporting actions. Process and track personnel eligibility, classified access, indoctrinations, debriefings, customer approvals, and other program-specific security requirements. Maintain accurate, current, and audit-ready records in DISS, NBIS/eApp, NISS, internal tracking systems, and other applicable government or customer platforms. Guide employees through security forms, clearance and access requirements, required briefings, and reportable events while protecting sensitive personal information. Coordinate personnel security actions with government security representatives, customer security offices, program teams, and internal partners across Security, People, Recruiting, Legal, and IT. Prepare and manage visit authorization requests, security access requests, and related customer access packages, including CAC, NIPR, SIPR, and SAAR documentation when applicable. Identify discrepancies, aging cases, missing documentation, potential security concerns, and reportable information, escalating sensitive or complex issues promptly and appropriately. Maintain clear visibility into case ownership, status, deadlines, next steps, and government or customer dependencies. Develop and improve checklists, standard operating procedures, templates, metrics, and workflows that reduce backlog, manual effort, and missed handoffs. Support self-inspections, customer reviews, recurring reporting, and broader efforts to build a scalable, reliable personnel security program. You might thrive in this role if you: Have hands-on personnel security experience supporting a cleared defense contractor, Intelligence Community organization, federal customer, or comparable classified environment. Have directly managed clearance verification, access processing, indoctrinations, debriefings, visit requests, security briefings, and onboarding or offboarding for cleared personnel. Have working experience with DISS and NBIS/eApp; familiarity with NISS, SWFT, Scattered Castles, or customer-specific security systems is a plus. Understand the NISPOM, applicable Security Executive Agent Directives, and government or customer personnel security requirements. Are highly organized and can manage competing priorities, sensitive records, recurring deadlines, and a high-volume case queue without losing accuracy. Communicate clearly and respectfully, particularly when explaining complex requirements or supporting employees through sensitive and sometimes frustrating processes. Demonstrate discretion with personal information and sound judgment about when to involve security leadership, Legal, People, or government security officials. Look for practical ways to improve operational reliability through documentation, metrics, templates, and approved AI tools, agents, and automations, while protecting sensitive information and preserving required human review and security judgment. Have experience supporting SCI or SAP access, customer-specific nominations, visit authorization requests, or related access packages. Hold active Top Secret eligibility and current SCI access, and can obtain and maintain any customer-required polygraph or additional access approvals. About the Team OpenAI, in close collaboration with our capital partners, is building the world’s most advanced AI infrastructure ecosystem. The Power Execution team owns the strategy and execution required to secure reliable, scalable, and economically resilient power for OpenAI’s global data center portfolio. The team sits at the intersection of commercial, technical, policy, legal, and operational work, partnering across OpenAI and with utilities, grid operators, regulators, counterparties, and public-sector stakeholders. About the Role The Energy Regulatory Lead will own energy regulatory strategy and execution for OpenAI’s infrastructure growth. This role will be the primary bridge between the Power Execution team and Public Policy and Government Affairs on energy regulatory matters, ensuring that OpenAI’s external engagement is grounded in project realities and that changing policy and regulatory conditions are translated into actionable infrastructure decisions. This is an individual contributor lead role and does not have direct reports initially. The role combines portfolio-level regulatory positioning with transactional regulatory work: evaluating jurisdictional pathways, supporting utility and energy transactions, coordinating approvals and filings, and helping project teams navigate tariffs, interconnection, load-service requirements, market rules, and regulatory risk from diligence through execution. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain OpenAI’s energy regulatory strategy across priority U.S. markets and, as needed, emerging geographies for infrastructure expansion. Demonstrated ability to connect policy and regulatory strategy with transaction execution, project schedules, commercial terms, and operational requirements. Experience working with utility service agreements, special contracts, interconnection agreements, PPAs, regulatory filings, or comparable energy-infrastructure transactions. Strong cross-functional judgment and the ability to partner effectively with Public Policy, Government Affairs, Legal, Commercial, Finance, Sustainability, Engineering, and site-readiness teams. Excellent written communication and executive-summary skills; able to make complex regulatory issues clear, practical, and decision-ready. Comfort operating in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment and managing multiple high-stakes workstreams at once. About the Team OpenAI’s 1P Hardware Systems team operates at the intersection of Hardware Engineering, Infrastructure, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Deployment, and Finance to translate infrastructure demand into an executable systems plan. The Planning Lead connects system demand and deployment timing to site and configuration requirements, power availability, XPU needs, hardware supply commitments, manufacturing capacity, and site readiness. About the Role OpenAI is seeking a 1P Hardware Systems Planning Lead to own the integrated demand, supply, and deployment plan for our 1P AI infrastructure systems. This role will connect infrastructure demand and site power availability to system configurations, XPU requirements, and hardware supply commitments—creating a single, actionable view of whether our deployment plan can be met. You will establish the planning mechanisms that allow teams to see what changed, understand the impact, and act quickly when demand, supply, configuration, site readiness, or power timing moves. You will work across Hardware Engineering, Infrastructure, Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing, Manufacturing, Deployment, and Finance to identify gaps early and drive recovery plans to closure. This is a highly cross-functional role for someone who combines systems-level thinking, strong analytical judgment, and rigorous program execution. The ideal candidate can turn complex and changing inputs into a clear operating plan, surface the decisions that matter, and drive accountability across teams without relying on formal authority. Success also requires strong communication judgment: the ability to align cross-functional teams, brief leadership at a concise and decision-oriented level, and go deep into the underlying assumptions, dependencies, risks, and recovery plans when needed. Responsibilities Integrated Planning - Own the integrated planning process for 1P hardware systems, connecting system demand, deployment timing, site and configuration requirements, power availability, XPU needs, and supply commitments. Maintain a clear, decision-ready supply plan that shows changes from the prior plan; weekly pull-ins and push-outs; site, deployment, and system-configuration impacts; power availability assumptions and timing; system demand and corresponding XPU requirements; current supplier and manufacturing commitments; gaps between forecast, requirements, and committed supply; and recovery actions with accountable owners and target closure dates. Validate that the end-to-end supply plan is executable, including the timing and dependencies across components, XPU availability, system integration, factory capacity, site readiness, and deployment. Operating Cadence & Change Management - Lead a weekly deployment and supply review focused on material changes, emerging risks, required decisions, and recovery-plan execution. Publish and maintain a weekly delta report that clearly explains what changed, why it changed, and the downstream impact to deployments, sites, configurations, power, and supply. Track forecast-versus-commit gaps at a weekly level, identify the underlying constraints, and drive recovery plans with named owners and dates. Coordinate the biweekly end-to-end supply picture update for leadership and key stakeholders, including the latest system forecast; how the forecast aligns with site power availability and timing; current supply commitments; weekly gaps to commit; and the plan and timing to close each gap. Cross-Functional Execution & Risk Management - Partner with Hardware Engineering and Infrastructure teams to translate roadmap, configuration, and deployment changes into updated system and XPU requirements. Work through the Supply Chain team to pressure-test commitments with manufacturing partners and suppliers, understand constraints, and establish credible recovery paths. Anticipate supply and deployment risks, develop scenarios and tradeoffs, and provide crisp recommendations to senior leaders. Process & Operational Scaling - Build scalable planning models, reporting standards, and operating mechanisms that improve forecast accuracy, change control, traceability, and executive decision-making as 1P infrastructure scales. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Significant experience in hardware systems planning, supply planning, program management, operations, or a related role supporting complex, high-volume technology products or infrastructure. Strong understanding of the dependencies among hardware demand, component supply, manufacturing capacity, system configurations, site readiness, power availability, and deployment schedules. Experience building and managing integrated demand-and-supply plans at weekly granularity, including forecast changes, supply commits, gaps, scenarios, and recovery actions. Demonstrated ability to pressure-test whether a plan is executable rather than simply consolidating inputs from different teams. Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to translate complex datasets and technical dependencies into clear insights, decisions, and actions. Strong program leadership, including experience establishing operating cadences, driving cross-functional accountability, and closing issues across organizations. Demonstrated experience communicating effectively across cross-functional teams and with senior leadership, with the judgment to tailor the level of detail to the audience—distilling complex issues into concise, decision-ready updates while going deep on assumptions, dependencies, risks, and recovery plans when needed. Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, high-ambiguity environment where requirements, priorities, and constraints evolve quickly. High ownership, sound judgment, and a bias toward surfacing risks early and driving them through resolution. Preferred Qualifications Experience with AI infrastructure, hyperscale data centers, or accelerator systems. Experience with semiconductors, server or rack manufacturing, or complex hardware supply chains. What Success Looks Like A single, trusted view of 1P hardware system demand, supply commitments, deployment timing, and associated gaps. Clear weekly visibility into changes, pull-ins, push-outs, and their impact on sites, configurations, power, systems, and XPUs. Early identification of risks to the deployment plan, with quantified impact and actionable recovery paths. Work through SCPM and strategic sourcing to ensure every material gap has a clear recovery plan, accountable owner, target date, and escalation path. Forecast, supply, manufacturing, site-readiness, and power assumptions remain aligned across teams. Leadership receives a concise, consistent, and decision-oriented biweekly view of the end-to-end supply picture. Planning processes and tools scale with the pace, volume, and complexity of OpenAI’s 1P infrastructure roadmap. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion. Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work. About the Role: Notion has a very successful "land and expand" business model; our customers start using Notion for free, upgrade over time as they expand their teams, and embrace increasingly sophisticated use cases. Often, these users and champions are different than the person who has enterprise purchasing authority. The Demand Generation team serves as a dot-connecter across sales, marketing, and operation teams to identify, engage, and convert decision makers at our target mid market and enterprise companies. In this role, you will partner with demand generation teammates and sales stakeholders to ideate and execute in-person events, designed to help open, accelerate, and close business. As a Field Marketing Manager, you will own and execute field events that are Notion-hosted, third party, co-partnered, and ancillary to third party events. This strategic position focuses on driving pipeline that meaningfully contribute to Notion's bottom line. This role can be based in either San Francisco or New York City. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days. Manage all event logistics , production, venue sourcing, budget tracking, marketing campaigns, sales enablement, content development, and audience acquisition. Leverage quantitative and qualitative insights to make recommendations on how we invest in field events to drive incremental business impact. Partner closely with Sales and broader Marketing team to align events and audiences to objectives for top accounts and craft tailored programs that nurture those accounts Partner with our Operation and BizTech teams to manage and better utilize our go-to-market systems Skills You'll Need to Bring: 4-5+ years of related marketing experience. You don’t need to be an AI expert, but you’re curious and willing to adopt AI tools to work smarter and deliver better results. You're a creative problem-solver who doesn't wait for a perfect playbook. You've built field events from scratch, and you're energized by figuring out what works in new territory. You have a bias for action and experimentation. You'd rather test and learn than wait for consensus, and you know how to balance scrappiness with strategic thinking. You're a strong cross-functional collaborator. You know how to work with sales, ops, and creative teams — and you can align people around a shared goal without needing authority to do it. You're pipeline-obsessed. You understand how your programs connect to revenue and can speak credibly about pipeline contribution, not just top-of-funnel metrics. Nice to Haves: Experience in a fast-paced, B2B tech environment You're a Notion user and understand our value to businesses Salesforce, Marketo experience Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. About the Team OpenAI's Industrial Compute organization is building and operating the infrastructure foundation for the next generation of AI. Infrastructure Operations works across facilities, hardware, network operations, incident management, data center engineering, delivery teams, and external partners to bring capacity online safely, understand its operational state, and improve it over time. As OpenAI's data center portfolio grows across first-party and partner-delivered capacity, the organization needs clear goals, trusted data, repeatable processes, and systems that make ownership, risk, readiness, and performance visible. This role will help build the operating mechanisms that allow Infrastructure Operations to scale with rigor. About the Role We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to own the systems, data, reporting, governance, and program-management backbone for Infrastructure Operations. Reporting to the Delivery & Operations Lead, you will translate strategy into executable goals and operating cadences, turn operational needs into software and data solutions, and create the mechanisms that keep a rapidly evolving organization aligned and accountable. This role will also own the current 1P+3P delivery-tracking layer within Operations: milestones, delivery timelines, quantity forecasts, risks, decisions, and executive reporting. You will partner closely with 1P Delivery Program Management, Compute TPMs, Data Center Engineering, construction, commissioning, and operations leaders to ensure that delivery information becomes complete, usable input for readiness, handover, and ongoing operations. You will own program health and the operating system around it: the goals, data definitions, workflows, reporting, decision paths, and follow-through that help functional DRIs execute. The ideal candidate is comfortable in ambiguity, technically fluent enough to implement real systems, and relentless about converting scattered information into durable mechanisms. Key Responsibilities Establish and run Infrastructure Operations' goal-setting and operating cadence, including quarterly goals, weekly performance reviews, prioritization, action tracking, decision logs, escalation paths, and closure criteria. Translate leadership priorities into clear programs with owners, milestones, dependencies, success metrics, and resourcing assumptions; maintain source-of-truth hygiene across goals, status, dates, risks, and decisions. Build and operate dashboards, scorecards, and executive-ready reporting for operational health, capacity readiness, SLA and MTTR performance, delivery pipeline status, and material risks. Define authoritative data models and reporting standards for milestones, timelines, delivery risk, capacity state, readiness, handover, exceptions, and operational performance; drive consistent adoption across the portfolio. Own the 1P+3P delivery-tracking program across sites and partners, integrating schedule and progress inputs, maintaining quantity and timeline forecasts, surfacing risks early, and driving cross-functional follow-through. Define Operations' requirements for capacity acceptance and operational handover, including readiness evidence, risk and exception workflows, approvals, sign-offs, and post-handover action tracking. Own the Information Governance Process and controlled-document lifecycle across relevant Operations workflows, including standards, procedures, work instructions, templates, ownership, approvals, versioning, exceptions, and obsolescence. Lead operations software and tooling implementations from discovery through rollout: map workflows, write requirements, design data and integration patterns, partner with engineering and vendors, test solutions, and drive adoption. Improve the connections among reporting, ticketing, knowledge, delivery-tracking, sourcing, and operational systems so teams can work from consistent data instead of manual, fragmented updates. Program-manage cross-functional initiatives across Infrastructure Operations and its interfaces with Data Center Engineering, Compute TPMs, 1P Delivery, construction, commissioning, sourcing, and external infrastructure partners. Coordinate internal and external resources supporting systems, dashboards, process design, and document governance; make dependencies and ownership explicit while keeping functional DRIs accountable for their domains. Capture lessons learned, identify recurring operational bottlenecks, and implement automation and process improvements that make the organization more predictable, scalable, and effective. Qualifications Have 8+ years of experience in technical program management, operations program management, infrastructure delivery, operations transformation, or a comparable role in a complex technical environment. Have led end-to-end software or systems implementations for an operations organization, including workflow discovery, requirements, data models, integrations, testing, rollout, adoption, and continuous improvement. Are fluent with dashboards, KPIs, operational data, and executive reporting; you can turn incomplete inputs into clear definitions, trusted metrics, and decisions. Have built governance mechanisms that work in practice: goal-setting, operating reviews, intake and prioritization, risk and issue management, action tracking, decision logs, and escalation. Bring experience with data centers, construction, commissioning, infrastructure operations, cloud, manufacturing, or another mission-critical physical-infrastructure environment. Can influence across senior leaders, technical DRIs, vendors, and partner organizations without relying on direct authority, and communicate clearly from working-team detail to executive summary. Are comfortable navigating ambiguity, changing ownership boundaries, urgent timelines, and high operational stakes while maintaining rigor and momentum. Hold a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Construction Management, Operations Management, Business, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience. Preferred Skills Experience with hyperscale or AI infrastructure, including 1P, 3P, colocation, or CSP delivery models. Familiarity with project controls, scheduling, operational readiness, commissioning, capacity acceptance, SLA/MTTR reporting, incident or ticketing workflows, and handover governance. Technical fluency with APIs, integration patterns, BI/reporting tools, workflow platforms, data quality controls, and automation; SQL or equivalent analytical skills are a plus. Experience managing vendors, consultants, or embedded support resources and converting ad hoc support into repeatable operating capability. About the Team OpenAI’s Enterprise Go-To-Market organization helps the world’s largest companies adopt and scale our AI platform across their business—from ChatGPT Enterprise to our developer platform and APIs. We partner with organizations across Financial Services, Life Sciences, and Retail to build new AI-powered customer experiences, transform operations, and reimagine how work gets done in highly regulated and technically complex environments. As adoption accelerates through pilots, experimentation, and developer-led use cases, the GTM team turns that momentum into durable, enterprise-wide deployments. Account Associates sit at the front of this motion—where technical curiosity turns into executive engagement, and early product signals become enterprise-wide deployments. About the Role This role is designed as a launchpad for future enterprise sellers at OpenAI. This is a highly strategic role with significant exposure to enterprise sales, product, and customer strategy. You’ll develop core skills in discovery, stakeholder mapping, deal shaping, and executive communication while building a deep understanding of how leading companies adopt AI. We are looking for individuals with 4-6+ years of professional experience who are motivated to grow into world-class enterprise sellers over time. While many individuals in this role go on to become Account Directors or take on broader GTM roles, progression is based on performance and business needs rather than a fixed timeline. For the right person, this is one of the most accelerated paths to break into sales at OpenAI and build a long-term career in AI go-to-market. In this role, you will identify, shape, and advance complex enterprise opportunities by turning product usage, pilots, and inbound demand into qualified, high-conviction enterprise opportunities for our Large Enterprise and Strategic Accounts teams. This role is based in San Francisco. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week (Monday through Wednesday) and offer relocation assistance to new employees. In this role, you will: Partner with Account Directors on account strategy, multi-threading, and deal progression Design and execute targeted outbound strategies using industry context, stakeholder mapping, and product signal to break into priority accounts Lead high-quality discovery to uncover business priorities, map stakeholders, and assess enterprise readiness Contribute to pipeline reviews by sharing outbound activity, account insights, and early competitive signals. Build and iterate on AI-enabled GTM workflows (GPTs/agents) to scale prospecting and qualification You may thrive in this role if you: Have 4+ years of relevant experience in enterprise sales, or in strategic customer-facing roles in the finance or consulting industry Have a track record of consistently hitting and exceeding ambitious targets in enterprise or strategic sales environments Experience selling into regulated or complex industries (Financial Services, Life Sciences, Retail) Strong communication skills and executive presence; able to build credibility with senior C-Suite stakeholders across an organization, and speak fluently with technical buyers Strong interest in the AI landscape with the ability to connect OpenAI products to real customer value and business outcomes You enjoy evangelizing new technology and helping the market understand what’s possible You’re comfortable with ambiguity, moving quickly, and operating well with a high degree of ownership About OpenAI OpenAI is an AI research and deployment company dedicated to ensuring that general-purpose artificial intelligence benefits all of humanity. About Anthropic Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About Beneficial Deployments Beneficial Deployments ensures AI reaches and benefits the communities that need it most. We partner with nonprofits, governments, and mission-driven organizations to deploy Claude in education, global health, economic mobility, and life sciences. About the Role We're looking for a Partnerships Manager to drive forward the clinical AI research agenda for Anthropic's global health work — informing the tools that bring Claude safely into care and generating the evidence that proves they work. You'll help define how clinical AI tools should be validated for use in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), and you'll help shape the tools and safeguards that make Claude safe and usable in clinical settings. This is a hands-on role as much as a research one: you'll work side by side with Anthropic's research, evals, and product teams, translating what you know from how care actually gets delivered in low-resource settings into evaluations, safeguards, and product improvements. You'll join a small, tight-knit global health team within Beneficial Deployments. While you'll lead on this domain, you should expect to roll up your sleeves on adjacent workstreams, help shape overall team strategy, and be a thought partner to colleagues working on other parts of the health system. Everyone on the team owns the whole mission, not just their lane. Key responsibilities Own the clinical research and evaluation agenda for our global health work — define what we need to prove, to what standard, and with whom, and drive it. Design clinical evaluations and validation frameworks for LLMs in LMIC contexts, covering accuracy, safety, multilingual performance, and real-world conditions, in close partnership with Anthropic's research, evals, and product teams. Develop theories of change and outcome metrics connecting model capability to care quality, health-worker performance, and patient outcomes. Build and manage our global research partnerships, and engage with relevant regulatory and normative bodies (WHO, national authorities, research-ethics bodies). Partner with internal research and product teams to improve Claude for clinical use cases in low-resource settings. Stay grounded in how care is actually delivered in LMICs so our tools and evaluations reflect those realities. Contribute across the broader global health portfolio — lean in on adjacent workstreams, help set strategy, and be a thought partner to the team. Minimum qualifications Medical training and clinical practice (MD, GP, MBBS, DO, or equivalent), with direct experience delivering care in low-resource settings — you reason fluidly from how diagnosis, triage, treatment, and referral actually happen at the point of care in low and middle income countries. A concrete, on-the-ground understanding of clinical and care-delivery workflows in LMICs, and what they mean for how AI tools must be designed and evaluated. Direct experience evaluating or validating clinical AI/ML tools — you understand the gap between benchmark performance and real-world clinical safety. Deep expertise in clinical research and evidence generation for digital health or AI tools, with a clear view of what counts as credible evidence for clinical safety and effectiveness. A strong command of the regulatory and normative landscape for clinical AI, including WHO processes, national regulatory authorities in LMICs, and research ethics. A track record of building research partnerships with academic and in-country researchers, treating local partners as scientific collaborators rather than data-collection sites. High agency, a strong team orientation, and comfort with ambiguity — you pitch in outside your lane and thrive building the plane while flying it. A genuine drive to maximize impact for underserved communities, and willingness to travel regularly to research and partner sites (~25%). Preferred qualifications Hands-on experience building or shaping AI/ML products or tooling — eval harnesses, agentic scaffolding, grounding and guardrails, or clinical decision-support workflows. A publication record in digital health, clinical AI evaluation, or implementation science. Experience at a healthtech or AI company in clinical validation, clinical quality, or medical affairs. Experience working with philanthropic funders on evidence generation or research strategy. Direct clinical experience in a low- or middle-income country, including with humanitarian or global-health delivery organizations. The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $215,000 — $300,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. How we're different We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills. The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences. Come work with us! Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues. About the role Anthropic's Infrastructure organization builds and operates the compute that trains and serves our frontier models. Behind every cluster is a physical supply chain: servers, accelerators, networking equipment, spares, and tooling that have to be received, inspected, secured, tracked, and delivered to the right site at the right time. The Warehousing and Logistics team owns that flow, and this role builds the key capabilities and partnerships to scale these services with velocity. As Warehouse and Logistics Capability Manager, you'll report to our Global Warehousing and Logistics Lead and own the design, and roll-out of key capabilities (selection of in-house or off-the-shelf tooling, process, and data integrity), implementation and integration with strategic partnerships to achieve global scale. This is a strategic role on a small team, so you'll move between building the tooling, processes, controls, and metrics that let us scale as our hardware footprint grows. You should be comfortable making decisions with incomplete information, communicating clearly with engineers and vendors alike, and holding a high bar for supply chain and logistics capabilities. Key responsibilities Define the key requirements for new capabilities in collaboration with partner teams Own the program management, selection and implementation of tools pertaining to warehouse, inventory, transport management etc., and their integration with internal and external tools Enable expansion to new geographies with the right tools, processes, SOPs and data in conjunction with the operational warehouse managers Conduct RFP where needed and drive tool selection and/or build in line with business requirements Ensure third party vendor tools are fully integrated with Anthropic’s architecture and meet compliance, and regulatory requirements Conduct full testing and effective adoption of new processes and tools, effectively managing risks and timely implementation Develop/enhance reports on operational metrics such as receiving cycle time, inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, and freight cost, and use them to drive continuous improvement Minimum qualifications Experience managing warehouse or logistics operations for physical goods, including receiving, inventory control, and outbound shipping Hands-on experience using and designing warehouse management and inventory management system, and comfort working in spreadsheets to analyze inventory and shipment data Experience managing third-party logistics providers or carriers, including negotiating service levels and holding vendors accountable to them Working knowledge of domestic freight (LTL, FTL, and parcel) and the documentation that goes with it Familiarity with safety and regulatory requirements for shipping and storing IT or electronic equipment, such as hazardous materials rules for lithium batteries Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across technical and non-technical teams and external partners Demonstrated ability to build processes from scratch and keep operations running reliably as volume and complexity increase Ability to travel to warehouse and data center sites in the US as needed Preferred qualifications Experience handling data center or enterprise IT hardware, including servers, GPUs or other accelerators, and networking equipment Experience with international freight forwarding, customs brokerage, and export control requirements such as EAR Experience with secure chain-of-custody programs, asset tagging, and data-bearing device sanitization or destruction Experience directly managing warehouse staff or contract labor Familiarity with ERP or procurement systems and how inventory data flows between them and warehouse systems Experience with Agile development and frontier AI tools Experience supporting rapid infrastructure buildouts, whether in cloud, telecom, or another hardware-intensive industry The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
